This website does not require an account and does not ask you to submit personal information. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message. Our hosting provider may process standard technical request data, including IP address and browser type, for security and reliability purposes.

How we use information

We use the information you send us solely to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a record of our correspondence. We use technical request data only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

Website analytics

We use PostHog to measure visits to our public pages and clicks to Field Notes and Alchemy. This helps us understand which parts of the site are useful. PostHog receives technical information such as the page path, browser, and device type. We remove URL query strings and fragments from analytics events.

Analytics runs in cookieless mode, without analytics cookies or persistent browser storage. PostHog processes request information to produce a privacy-preserving visitor hash; IP addresses are not stored with events. We do not create person profiles or record sessions. We skip analytics when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. See PostHog’s privacy policy for information about our analytics provider.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use the information you send us for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers that help us operate this website and our email, or where required by law.

Retention

We retain correspondence only as long as needed for the purpose it was sent, for legitimate business records, or as required by law.

Your requests

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information you have sent to us. Email hi@augi.co and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a revised effective date at the top of this page.
